Hi again guys, it's Quinn. =)
This weekend, I was supposed to go to LA with my Aunt Linda. She's modeling, and I was going to get to be her unofficial assistant. She was gonna even pay me! But I'd go for free, because I love being in that atmosphere. But I was supposed to do this book report for my mom and I kinda forgot. She got mad at me for slacking and I said she was being a little crazy. So no model's assistant weekend for me. =(
Instead I get to spend the weekend with my Nana. I love Nana and everything, but she's so strict! That's why Mom sends me and Ben here whenever we tick her off. The only reason I even get to post this right now is because Nana thinks I'm working on the book report. I sorta am, but I'm sorta also sulking.
And she calls me Mills. My real first name is Amelia (Quinn is my middle name), so she calls me Mills. Never mind the fact that I hate the name Amelia and any form of it. Honestly, how many jet setting model/fashion designers do you know that are named Amelia? I can think of like one.
Anyways, thanks for all the advice about my birthday, guys! I still haven't decided, but I liked some of your ideas. =) I'll keep ya posted!
Love, Quinn <3

A Sleepover at Quinn's House
I'm sleeping over at Quinn's tonight. Right now! But we're a little bored... we were in the front room having an all-night movie marathon but her mom came in and said we had to go to bed! We're in Quinn's room now, but we don't wanna go to sleep. We're doing everything we can to stay up and have fun... Quinn even put on some music and started dancing around the room like a crazy person. (You should have seen her... it was so funny =P) A while ago we actually went into Ben's room to see if he had any games to play. We played my Twister game earlier, but it's way more fun with more than two people. A few minutes before I started writing this, I found my sisters on myspace AND facebook (even though our parents say they aren't allowed to have either). They were set to private so I couldn't snoop. I can't even rat on them or they could tell about my blog, and I'm not really supposed to have this. Shhh...
A while ago we heard Aunt Linda sneaking in. She was out on a date with some guy... guess it went well. ;) Quinn asked her to go on a late night junk food run for us so we at least had lots of snacks.
We're gonna watch a dvd on my laptop now. Tomorrow night she's staying over at my house and we're gonna do it all over again. =)
Until next time,

Yikes!
Quinn’s Aunt Linda is a model part time, and this weekend she has a gig in LA and she’s taking Quinn with her. I don’t live far from LA, and I’ve been lots of times before, but I kinda think it’d be really cool to go to something like that. Quinn is gonna have a lot of fun… I just know it. She loves fashion and modelling and that sort of thing. That's her dream - fashion designer or model, or both.
In the mean time, Quinn’s mom will be working Saturday afternoon, and with Linda and Quinn out of town there won’t be anyone to watch Ben, who is Quinn’s little brother. Well, guess who’s got her first babysitting gig? Me! I know Ben and everything, but I’m still a little worried that something could go wrong. Wish me luck!

A Valentine's Party
This afternoon, Quinn took me to a Valentine's Day party for the kids at her church. Well, it's really her aunt's church, and Quinn sometimes goes with her. Anyways, they had this party, and it was open to all the kids and everyone was allowed to bring a friend, so Quinn asked me. I was a little nervous about it... being Jewish, I don't have much experience with church functions...
But Quinn reassured me that it would just be a party for us kids, no pressure or anything, so I agreed to go. But then, I had to get permission to go, which is never as easy as it should be.
"Mom," I began. "Can I please go to a party with Quinn? I haven't been in trouble or anything, and I have all my weekend homework done..."
"Well, I don't know. You just got over being sick a while back. Who'd take you?" she probed.
I cringed. "Quinn's Aunt Linda." My mom kinda thinks Aunt Linda is too young and fun to be left in charge of the kids while Quinn's mom is working.
"Oh. Well... maybe you can go if she brings you home early and sees to it that you have dinner, and not just junk food," Mom began. I smiled and tried to leave, thinking I was home free. But, then the other shoe dropped. "Where is this party, Wendy?"
"St. Francis," I choked.
Mom looked puzzled. "St. Francis the school? Or St. Francis the church?"
"Does it matter?" I sheepishly asked.
"Wendy Madelyn, you are not going to a party at a church. It would be lying," mom reasoned.
Well, I'll save you from having to read the whole discussion, because it was lengthy, and involved a lot of whining on my part and a phone call to Aunt Linda. But, after about an hour, she finally agreed.
After that, I walked over to Quinn's house dressed in my party gear. Quinn took one look at me, and begged me to let her dress me up. I figured I'd let her just this once. When she was all done with me, I looked like... well, like she had dressed me. Not so bad though, I guess. She looked great as usual, since she's really into this whole fashion thing. But I gotta say, most of the stuff she's allowed to wear would give my parents a heart attack.

The party was great though. There was lots of food and sodas and fun treats. They played lots of music, and some kids danced. Quinn and I, and a couple of girls she knew, had fun people-watching. Then everyone played tag on the huge church grounds when it got dark, and that was most fun. We ran around like mad and a few kids crashed into one another, but no one got hurt and everyone laughed like crazy.
We had more fun that I ever would have expected. When I came home smiling, my parents were happy they'd let me go. I didn't tell them about the running around or all the soda and sweets, but what they don't know won't hurt them. =)
After the party Quinn came to my place with me, and she brought her DVD of Camp Rock. She was stunned when I said I hadn't seen it. It was... better than High School Musical (which I don't like much at all), but still. It's kinda HSMish in that it's more fun when you're watching it for the sake of making fun of it. And the movie ended in time to see the Jonas Brothers on SNL. I must admit, those guys are wearing me down... I'm starting to like them. And they were in a couple of skits (in addition to playing a couple of songs) and they were actually pretty funny.
Anyways, I gotta go now. Quinn's asleep and I'm technically supposed to be too. Happy (late) V-Day, everyone!
