The new doll is... (Plus new stop-motion video)

The new doll arrived today! We're all very excited to introduce to you ... Marisol Luna! Or, as I'm told, Marisol Estrella Luna Torres!

Sewing with Liberty Jane patterns - tee shirt and tank

Her everyone! Bre decided to do a little sewing for us... her very first. She started with the Liberty Jane tee shirt pattern and sewed literally by hand, since her mom's sewing machine has been out of order since forever. Sewing the shirts by hand took forever, but it was fun. The rhinestones are iron-ons from Michaels. Some of the rhinestones didn't stick though... this angered Bre, but she got over it.

Hopefully she'll be sewing more, but she says not to count on it happening soon, lol.

Baby Noah's new dress and Bre's new doll!

Hello blog friends! I know I'm way behind in my blog reading, and I hoping to catch up today. I miss talking to you guys! For those who don't know, we're still without internet at home, so it's not easy. But we're always very happy when we're able to bum internet off of friends... like today. =)

And as the title hints (or, rather, flat-out says), Noah got a new dress. It's a fairy costume... and do you know where Bre found it? Michael's the craft store. It's from their teddy bear clothes line and was like $4. It fits Noah perfectly. We all think she looks as cute as a baby fairy.

And perhaps most exciting of all, Bre is getting a new AG doll! Our new friend is a graduation present from Bre's mom, and according to UPS, she should be delivered on the 17th. Now, here's the fun part -- we want you to guess who we're getting! And we'll give you a hint -- remember way back in February when we posted asking for opinions on who the next doll should be? Well, this young lady was mentioned on that list. And she's going to be a cousin to one of us modern dolls.

Instant Karma

Hi friends... I'm back with yet another page in the book of War with Claire. Today in class, during a quiz on the weekend reading assignment, I dropped my pen on the floor and I leaned over to pick it up. When I leaned over, Claire, who sits next to me, shot her hand up and swore that I was cheating and trying to see her paper. (If I was to cheat, however, it wouldn't be on Claire's paper... she gets bad grades.) I tried to deny it, but the teacher made me move to the front of the class. The dunce seat. A minute or two later, Miss Lamb started collecting papers from whoever was finished, and Claire was one of the first done. After she handed in her paper, she pulled out her notebook and scribbled something on a piece of paper, tore it out, crumpled it, and threw it at Nicki. Miss Lamb saw this and figured Claire and Nicki were cheating, but when she read the paper she saw that it only said "hillbilly loser," which is what Claire often calls Nicki. Claire got sent out of class, and I got to sit back in my regular seat. I love it when Claire gets called out for being her evil self. That's what I call karma.

Dolly food stuff by Bre =)

I think I mentioned yesterday that Bre bought some clay and made us some food. Well I have the pics for you now! I'm posting a couple here, but the rest are in the album below. This was Bre's very first attempt at crafting, so be kind! Comments are, of course, very welcome. =)

Dance dance revolution!

Hi everyone! Sorry for being so long between posts. I missed you guys!

Have you ever played DDR, or Dance dance revolution? It's so fun! I'm not very good at it, but Quinn is like a pro. She can play some of the really fast songs on standard, and I still do beginner on most songs. Bre says DDR is good exercise. How do you like that? Just like anyone over 12, she knows how to zap the fun out of everything. But I suppose we can forgive her. The other day she went to Michael's and bought a bunch of clay and made cool food items for us. I was gonna post pix for you guys, but picasa is acting up. I promise soon though.
